Hello Internet, and how are you today?

I think it's time for a brain dump.

So My Work has now got Sparkling Water in the kitchen, which makes me insanely happy (seriously, there would be bouncing but  then I would spill the precious bubbly nectar). This is good as I will now try to live off this and peppermint tea at work to keep me human, thus ( Read more... )

A sight test is not that costly, it's only around £20 as far as I remember. Glasses are the more expensive part, starting around £39 for the budget range at Specsavers and going up to over a hundred.

My local Specsavers seems to have flyers with £10 eye exam coupons. Maybe check your local newspaper for one?

On glasses and eye tests - check with your HR department at work. You might find they offer a voucher scheme to pay for the eye test. My employer even pays some money towards the glasses if they're required for using a screen.
