Grant Street started out doing auctions of fixed value securities over the Internet (Municipal Bonds, Tax liens, etc etc). We have since branched out into some tax collection software as well. We are pretty much a LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-Perl) shop. We tend to hire people with a "certain spark," this spark being a willingness to learn and share ideas.
