Well those conditions are a PITA (and if you decide to have kids you'll want to make sure your partner doesn't have a mutation affecting the same gene), but they can be managed & lived with.
What a bother. Glad your first (and hopefully only) DVT/clot incident didn't kill you. Now that you know your vulnerability you can keep it from hurting you again.
Yikes. I'm glad to hear you're doing okay now, although that sounds awfully scary. Sorry you had to go through all that. I'll be crossing my fingers that you only have to take that stuff for a short time.

Important safety tip--DO NOT SMOKE. Most of those genetic coagulopathies can be triggered to form clots by smoking.
If you'd like to gross yourself out, look up Buergers' disease.
