NOT FIRST ENTRY
first order of business: I did my rough draft for my statement of intent for MCAD. I'm super nervous about it....... I'm taking the honest route and explaining why my high school years sucked and what I did after I graduated. I still need to explain where I see myself in 10 years which is weird to do!! I mean without sounding egotistical I mean... in 10 years I think I'll have had a career storyboarding for cartoons and giving them a gay spin (lol). and creating comics while having finished and published my Rachael and Penny story arc in WEBCOMIC and print form which sounds like a pretty manageable goal, but maybe not a unique one? I DON'T KNOW! I'D REALLY LIKE TO GO TO COLLEGE YOU GUYS!!

the theme of the picture was the song "black and gold". while working my sketches are REAALLLLY rough. I don't commit myself to carving in the final lines until way late but even then I never know when I wanna venture into another line layer.... here's some process thumbnails!
this was an alternative version where I blacked out rachael a bit more, cause it's supposed to look like rach isn't even aware of penny being there but I decided to keep it subtle
