Kind of weird for me--they say these things never change, over your entire life, that your basic personality remains the same, but I think the military changed me completely. I used to be an INTJ, but last time I took it (and I did it several times to make sure I was telling the truth) I got something totally different!

Whoever told you that it was set in stone was mistaken. It is a test of preferences. Everyone has all the tendencies ot some degree, this just measures which you prefer, and preferences can change over time. The only thing I tested very strongly on was Introversion, one or two questions answered differently (like on a whim I choose compassion over justice, for example) would have changed the rest.

Going into the military very likely changed you, because that is what boot camp is designed to do. They want to mold a level of conformity into their troops, so they use the age old brain washing techniques of isolation, sleep deprivation, high protine diet, and constant reinforcement of the idea that you are worthless as in individual and will only be viable within the context of their organization.

I have to say, the hardest question for me is always, "Which do you prefer, mercy or justice?" I find them both so valuable in different situations. I think I amswer that question differently based on which way the wind is blowing!
