We've been here for about five days now and it seems like we've already seen many things that were on our list. My impression of this huge city are interesting in the way that they don't quite correspond to my original expectations and to the stories that I've heard about it. It may just be me, but New York doesn't seem as hectic as people ( Read more... )

(In the stream....) The V Street one is particularly awesome! I liked the chess board one too.

You have a birthday approaching, will you be in New York for that?

Howdy! I'll post the Liberty Lady for you as soon as I see it up close. I haven't seen her really except from Brooklyn Bridge yesterday (which is quite far). Coming to Vancouver any time soon?
My birthday will be as soon as I come back to Van so I won't have it in this beautiful city, nor will there be enough time to make a party :(
However, I was thinking of a wild west party in the summer, maybe around Paul or Lesley's birthday... we'll see!

I'll tell you this, Van. looks awfully tempting as given the 20 to 30 cm of snow we just got. And it was 20+ just last weekend.

Vancouver sometime this summer is a strong possibility. Perhaps even... an inevitability. A cowboy themed party you say...

Great time! We were both suprised about the non attitude of these people...hopefully it will stay that way! I hope you guys are doing good too. I heard it was snowing in Victoria!

It snowed on Friday night but it was mostly gone by Saturday. We had a lovely evening at Sergio and Karens eating smoked meat and hanging out with the happiest baby ever ... you guys were missed:-)
