I love Renee Olstead's voice. She doesn't sound like a 15-year-old at all. The fact that she sings Big Band/Jazz makes her kinda special compared to all the Britneys of the world. She's so pretty and so talented. Green eyes + Red Hair... I always think people with red hair look exceptionally pale ( Read more... )

Lalala okay I typed a reply just now but stupid lj decided to give me an error. Anyway I was saying Renee Olstead is cool, I like her rendition of 'Summertime'. Then again, David Foster is amazing for picking out jazz/classic talents like Michael Buble as well. I love Buble! Ahaha.

I think I still prefer Jamie Cullum though, because he has greater originality... Or so I feel.

Well Renee Olstead's still young, and she's probably still finding her own musicality direction. She "likes everything" and I think she'll be good in other genres as well. She'll make her own music someday, seeing that she's a musician(she plays the violin). I have faith (:

I love Bublè too!

Oh, Pocohontas is wonderful. It's one of the last great Disney movies with real heart and true love. I love the earthliness of it, the pure faith, the sort of compassion and understanding and tranquility.

In the actual story, Pocohontas thought John Smith was dead. And John Smith thought Pocohontas has married this other warrior...and they had a brief affair before the air but she did find someone else, another John, who was a good, loyal man but I guess it wasn't the same of wildfire, meanttobe love she had with John Smith.

It was tragic.

I love red hair + green eyes. (The Little Mermaid <3) It's so gorgeous. Red hair and blue eyes. too.

*Pocahontas

Actually I think the best word to describe Pocahontas is: free spirited

Hee.

Yeah, that's what happened in Pocahontas II. Pocahontas thought Smith was dead, but only got together with this John Rolfe guy after she found out that Smith was alive. Sigh. I guess we don't get to have who we choose after all. BUT. It's supposed to be Disney! They concised Pocahontas II a lot and it turned out very, very far from the truth.

Pocahontas is one of my favvie Disney movies, together with Aladdin. Pocahontas is free-spirited (free spirited = two words?) and also strong-headed. She(as in the Disney version) is deeply set in her tradition, wise beyond her age, with dreams and hopes that her future will be different. She dares to dream, and doesn't let anyone stop her, not even her father. She's also very playful and mischevious(both the real one and the movie one) which would probably make her great company (as opposed to boring people).

Like Ariel! Well, they both pursue their dreams, are playful and rebellious and both with strict but loving dads. Haha, excpt Pocahontas is alot wiser and more grounded than Ariel is I believe.

Ah disney <3
