The horse's name is officially Agro, according to one of the US producers who was fielding questions at some point. The reason it sounds like 'Argo' when Wander says it is because of the weird pronunciations in Japanese, apparently.

You can prove anything with facts. :)

I think irrespective of what the official title of the horse is, it sounds like Argo to me, and Argo is a pretty kick-ass name for a horse anyway. Agro sounds like something Vinnie Jones would call his horse, if he had one.
