General

Character Name: Piper Halliwell
Species: Witch; Charmed One.
Extra-human/abnormal abilities, if any?: (copied from app)
Basic Witch Powers
→ Spell casting: The ability to cast spells and perform wiccan rituals.
→ Potion making: The ability to brew potions. Piper is exceptional at this.
→ Scrying: The ability to locate a person using a map and a crystal. The crystal drops on the place where the individual is; only works if you have a map of the location where that person is (for example, if the person is somewhere in London, you need a map of London). It’s not reliable as the position of a person can change during the time it takes to travel there. Sometimes uses blood or a personal belonging to focus on that individual.

Charmed One
→ Power of Three: The collective power of the sisters-enhances her powers.
→ High Resistance: Only active when she’s with her sisters. The ability to resist other powers-though can still sustain injury.
→ Agility: The ability to possess inhuman agility, reflexes and speed. Usually possessor only has one of these gifts; Piper does not seem to have one-or has not tapped into one during the course of the show. (Not unless she has Telekinesis).

Individual Powers
Molecular Immobilisation: The ability to slow down molecules to the point where time is frozen. This was Piper’s first power, originally triggered by fear. Piper waves her hands-or one hand-and an object/person/environment pauses in time. This power has grown so much that she can do it on command without feeling fear. She can use one hand or use it through an object-such as a toy wand. She can freeze a part of a person-such as their entire body but their head. In the beginning, she could only freeze the area that she was in-such as, she was stuck in a telephone box, thus she couldn’t stop time from outside of the box-and can cover a large area as her power develops. When she travelled to the future, her power had grown immensely that she could freeze an entire neighbourhood block.

Molecular Combustion: The ability to speed up molecules to the point where an explosion occurs. This was Piper’s second power and was triggered by anger. This power causes an object or person to explode. Piper uses her hands to use this power. This power has grown to the point where she can use it as a form of deviation-she can blow up a fireball before it makes contact with her. The strength of this power will eventually reach the point where she can selectively blow up a part of a person-such as an arm-and use one hand.

Psychology

1. Is it okay for your character's thoughts to be read/their mind to be probed?
Pretty much. It's canon - although Piper's been exposed to empathy, where Prue read her emotions and Phoebe later did. Though, ask me if it's anything big.

2. Is it okay for any of your character’s intense/distressing memories to be seen/heard/read in this situation?
Absolutely. But ask first.

3. What kind of mind does your character have? Are they disturbed at all? Are their thoughts ordered or jumbled?
Piper would be probably be ordered. She's been involved in some pretty insane situations during the course of the show. Piper keeps distressing memories locked up - like her mother being killed, her father walking out on them, Grams dying, Andy dying, Prue dying, possibly remembering everything that happened in 3x22 All Hell Breaks Loose (where she was shot and died) - Piper dies a lot.

4. Is it okay for your character’s emotions to be sensed?
Sure. It happens in canon, though

5. Does your character have a weak or strong mind? Are they susceptible to influence or hypnotism?
Haha. Piper's been influenced by evil, transformed into a multiple of things, and then some. I'd say she has a strong mind, but, of course, is susceptible to influence.

6. Does your character have supernatural/mental fortification against mind-reading or telepathic communication?
Unfortunately, no. Would've saved her a lot of hell if she had.

7. In the case of characters who are extra-sentient/psychic and can just 'know' things about people, can the muns of these characters use the powers of Wikipedia to get information about your character?
Yes (if I ever update it). Just talk to me first? I can probably give you more information specific to what you want.

8. If so, is there anything that should absolutely never ever be brought up?
Piper's future - Cole and Phoebe getting their evil freak on, Piper becoming a mother (and not having her baby girl), Leo becoming an Elder, Chris, Wyatt turning evil, blah blah blah. I like to keep all that crap away from Piper, hence her canon point. But it's cool to talk to her about her becoming a mentor for Billie and defeating the big bad Ultimate Power and blah, if you have to go that far. I kind of like to stick to seasons one-middle of four.

9. Anything that should absolutely be brought up?
Nothing comes to mind.

10. Will thoughts in the narration be up for grabs? If so, how will you indicate these? Italics/strikes/something else?
Absolutely - that's a reason why I put them there. Just ask first as always.

11. Does your character have any fears/phobias that you wouldn't mind being exploited? Ones that you'd like to NOT be exploited?
Piper hates spiders. I'm pretty sure I'll be bringing that in somehow.

It was revealed in season five that her father walked out on them on her birthday, and I think that that is a definite sore spot for her. She fears of leaving any children she has behind like her mother did when she died. Ever since they were exposed and time was rewound and Prue died (I'm having Piper remember that, despite it not being explicitly stated in canon, just only hinted), she's not too keen on exposure or revealing her true face.

Physiology

1. Is it okay for your character to be affected by chemical agents? Fear toxins, for example?
As long as we've spoken about it, absolutely. Piper wouldn't be Piper if she wasn't effected by something.

2. Does your character have any unique biological difference that would affect their resistance to toxins/chemical substances?
No, not that I know of.

3. Does your character have any notable genetic/supernatural/biological difference that would make their blood in any way different to a regular baseline human's (that would make them taste different if they were fed on by a vampire, for example)?
In canon, Piper's blood was taken after she had Oroya fever (and survived it) and it was injected into test monkeys. Piper's monkey was able to freeze time - so her blood would contain her power, I suppose. The doctor doing these experiments ended up being injected with the sisters' blood and was unable to handle the power, slowly deteriorating - he looked pretty ill.

Physical

1. How okay are you with your character coming to physical harm?
She's not Piper if she's not harmed. Just ask.

2. How okay are you with your character's home/possessions being targeted by bad guys?
Haha - the Halliwell grandfather clock has been smashed one too many times. Piper's club, P3, has been under fire a few times. So I'm cool with it. Just ask.

3. Can your character be impacted by telekinesis?
Yes.

4. With regard to vampires, would your character be willing to be a donor?
No. See the blood thing above.

5. If no, then how about unwilling?
Talk to me first.

6. With regard to shapeshifters, are you okay with having those with this power taking the shape of your character?
Sure - it's happened multiple times before. Just ask.

7. If your character has any superhuman abilities, would you be okay with these being replicated by those who have the power to absorb/take on the powers of others?
Lets chat.

8. In a physical confrontation, is it okay if characters who have the power to sense/foresee/predict movements use this to their advantage against your character?
Sure. Just talk to me about it.

9. Are you willing to participate in plots where your character will sustain damage outside of a fight, such as in situations with torture, environmental hazards, or accidents?
Yes.

10. Is there anything about them that would stand out noticeably (things like scars, physical augmentations, illness, anomalies, etc.) if they were ever injured or otherwise examined by a doctor? Are any of these things noticeable to others without close inspection?
Uh, I'm not sure. But she did have Oroya fever and I'm not sure if that'll show up? She's been told she has a weak immune system - probably thanks to Leo always healing her. She has a lot of stress. That's all I can think of.

Magics

1. Can your character be influenced and tempted by magical or supernatural means?
Yes.

2. If yes, will someone with the ability be able to find this out about them, and in what areas (think the seven deadly sins) can your character be tempted?
Piper's been tempted by Gluttony - she tends to overdo. But considering the events that have occurred since then, I think she's susceptible to Anger (about Prue) and Envy (wants a normal life and can't have it~).

3. Could your character be glamoured (a form of mind control employed by vampires to make humans compliant/alter their memories etc.)?
Lets talk.

4. Can your character be effected by spells of any kind, and are there any specific types to which they would be immune?
Yes. And ... I'm not sure what kind of spells she'd be immune to.

5. Can your character's presence be sensed by characters with the power to read auras/pick up generalized vibes from people?
Sure.

6. If yes, what kind of stand-out things about your character can be sensed?
She hates everything? IDK. She's kind of angry, kind of sarcastic, independent and determined. And I think she's a bit sad, lost and vulnerable.

7. With regard to characters that can sense danger/receive visions/predict general doom, are you okay with your character being the subject of any of this, if the occasion arises?
Sure. Save Piper's ass. Be her Phoebe. Just talk to me~.

Privacy

1. Will your character change their name as it is shown on the map? If so, what will they change it to?
Glinda. No. Lets not talk about aliases - that entire season was shit.

Not unless it's necessary. And I kind of don't see her ever doing it? But if so, probably something starting with P. Like Priscilla Bennett or something.

2. If they’re able, will they ever opt to hide their location on the map?
Probably.

3. If your character is from an earlier point in their canon than another member of your cast, what is and is not okay for your fellow castmate to spill the beans about regarding your character’s future?
Just chat to me. I kind of only want to deal with stuff that effects those two - little slips about other things are okay - but I want to avoid the whole kid thing, rocky marriage, Wyatt turning evil, Phoebe becoming the queen of the damned, and the Ultimate Power bullshit. I'm not a fan of those things,

4. With regard to characters that like to snoop, can they find anything that's been publicly said by your character through the tablets?
Yes - be mindful of the stuff I've said above about the things I want to keep private, though. Just talk to me.

5. How about privately?
No.

6. Is there anything you'd especially like to be known about your character, for the purposes of amusement?
No.

7. Anything you especially don't?
No.

8 Do you like threadhopping (a character not already in a thread jumping in unexpectedly to reply to a comment), and are you okay with other people threadhopping in your threads and posts?
IF YOUR NAME IS NOT THUMPER, IT SHOULD BE. If it's natural, go ahead. Seriously, I like to threadjack when I get in the mood.

Just ask if you're unsure of anything or I haven't touched base/answered what you want to know. I'm easily reached via PMing Piper's journal.
