[Having left her journal back at home, Tsubaki doesn't know quite what to make of finding Yukianesa in the weapon store during a browsing session. Fingers trembling, she lifts the sword to examine her find.

There's no mistaking it.

She hastens back to the house and starts flipping frantically through her journal, but upon finding and listening to Jin's recording... well, she's no longer sure if returning his weapon is really such a good idea. Cue thinking music while she decides.

...I know it it's difficult to believe, and even more so to hear, but we've essentially been taken captive by a mysterious organization that call themselves the Malnosso. There's... currently no known way to escape this place.

Not specifically, though they've admitted to some experiments being designed to manipulate us into fighting their battles for them. They have no respect for us -- certainly not enough to bother enlightening us in terms of their plans.

[There's a frustrated sound that escapes his throat and he doesn't reply for a few minutes. Then, finally, he's calm long enough to ask a question that just angers him some more in the end by one of two possible answers:]

It doesn't help calm Jin's nerves or the slow feeling of helplessness that was starting to churn in his gut (no yukianesa and no leads as to where these damn people, if they could even be called that, were located). He'd find out somehow, and the fact they did something to Tsubaki makes it all the more personal.]
