(no subject)
Ok, so I totally spoiled myself weeks in advance for this one and already knew it was a shapeshifter who liked to act out old horror movies. But I do love a good shapeshifter, so I was pretty excited. The black and white took me by surprise. For a while I kept expecting it to suddenly change to color, but I got over that and I think it worked really well. And the boys look hot in black and white.
The Dean smarm in this episode was fantastic! Smarmy Dean is one of my favorite flavors, and he was on top of his game. It was beautiful. I think I need to give visual proof.

I think I need to use a lot of pictures for this one, there were just too many sweet shots that I loved. Here we go:
Classic. Gotta say, Dean looks good with a beer foam moustache.
That shot? Just made of awesome. And I have to say I really liked this guy by the end. I was sad they had to kill him.

I also had to agree with my sister when she told me, "If there was ever a SPN/Pushing Daisies crossover, it would definitely involve Dracula on a Vespa". Though it would have to be a brightly colored Vespa. None of this black and white.
Can I say just how much I wish I was this actress? To get paid to snuggle up to and make out with Jensen? So very jealous. I bet it wasn't acting when she was smiling the whole time she kissed him. I know I wouldn't have to fake it.
Oh, to be her right then...
Dean's face here? Yeah, that's the one I'd be making if we were interrupted mid-kiss.
Ok, back to plot. Well, kinda, because I got rather distracted by
Dean in lederhosen!!! One snort-laugh was not enough for Thursday! Why did the shapeshifter change Dean's clothes, though? He didn't change Jamie's, he made her do it herself.
And lederhosen is a tough word to spell. Wikipedia clears things up quite nicely, though:
"The word Lederhosen is frequently misspelled as Leiderhosen (literally, "sadly-breeches"), or liederhosen ("songs-breeches")."
My sister and I decided that, since Dean would be sad about wearing the lederhosen and Sam would sing songs making fun of Dean in lederhosen, that they must actually be leiderliederhosen. Or maybe even lederleiderliederhosen.
Back to business.
I think Sammy expected that door to be a lot more solid than it was. It's ok, Sammy, your face afterwards was worth it.
Once the shapeshifter stopped using the Dracula accent I liked him even more. It really is a shame he killed people and had to die, because the poor chap was just misunderstood. He probably wouldn't've been bad if he hadn't been tormented. The actor was pretty great, too. I liked Jamie, too (even while being crazy jealous). She should pop up again. Maybe with Sarah from Provenance, just so both boys can be happy.
