An episode about aging, death, and immortality on the day I found out a pet died of old age. That hurts. I'm already a bit gerantophobic, so the episode would've freaked me out anyway, but today it hit me even harder.
And then Sammy was BAD. Damn it, show, I needed a pick me up, not a downer.
Ok, moving on.
Sammy was a magician? Hahahah! Awesome!
I can't be the only one who, even before I saw the episode, was just reminded of the Pushing Daisies episode "Oh Oh Oh... It's Magic", can I?. I can't help thinking it would be totally awesome if the two shows met (I know there's some stuff out there on this, I've read it and enjoyed it).
The first thing I thought when I saw the bunny was that the bunny was going to die. I was very glad when it didn't. Other parts of the episode reminded me of "Malleus Maleficarum", too. I was afraid for that bunny. Sorry, rabbit.
Sam is far too easily led. Sure Ruby saved his life, but has he never thought there could be some reason behind that? Wait, did Dean ever say anything to Sam about YED's plans not being over? That could do it. If Sam thinks YED's stuff is over and he's focused on Lilith and Ruby is helping him with that, I guess it makes some sense that he doesn't suspect her. But that leads to: BROTHERS NEED TO TALK TO EACH OTHER!
Ok, at 9:27 I called Charlie being the killer/MOTW/whatever. Show tricked me when he "died", but I was still totally right. Sweet. Brings up the self-esteem after last week.
Damn it, show. I don't want to hear about old people wanting to die! Stop it!
Young Charlie was on House! The guy House hired to spy on Wilson! I liked him. Too bad his character's not so good on this show. But while show is using actors I like from other shows, they should totally get David Anders! That would be AWESOME! He plays bad so good. And he'd add to the adorability of Supernatural. Always a plus.
As soon as Charlie mentioned the Grimoire, I thought of Wicked. Is he connected to Elphaba or the Wizard? The Wizard is more likely, as he does bad things, I guess. Though Elphaba turned bad. Hmm. (Oh, and the play is way more fun than the book. The book was weird.)
When Dean was being hanged why didn't Sam ever think to shoot the rope? Sure, maybe it's magic and won't break, but try it anyway! Your brother is dying! (My notes say: "Shoot the rope, dipshit!", but I thought I'd expound.)
Oh, and what's with Dean getting choked? That's Sam's thing. I guess even ropes have turned against him.
Poor Jay. Sad old people are the most depressing thing ever. Or I guess sad, old, guilt-ridden ones are more depressing. And that's Jay.
Dean, I could totally go for a beer, too. And I did. Even though I don't really like them.
Sam. Ugh. God damn it Sam. (And he totally will, too. Sam knows that.) I stick to my belief that Ruby is tied in with YED, and is, thus, evil and grooming Sam to fulfill YED's plans. Sammy needs to lean on his brother instead of Ruby. At least he knows Dean is on the good side.
