Discalimer: I am totally not used to watching this show with anyone, so my notes sucked this week, as I was home and watching with my sister. I could just say what I was thinking without needing to write it down. But I am getting feedback as I'm writing, so maybe it evens out. We'll see.
Wings! The wings on the ground are awesome. I wonder if the police can see them, not that they'd be looking. That's some sweet cinematography - with the spotlight moving and revealing the wings bit by bit. Good job show!
Then BAM ANGELS! Still unaware of that pesky human liking for privacy and knocking before entering. Turns out that Castiel is difinitively NOT Uriel's boss. They're equals, and only occasionally bitchy about it. Sam was whining, but I wasn't paying attention. Then, BAM again, they flew off with Dean. Which was cool. I loved Sam's WTF? face.
The angels wanted Dean to torture Alastair, which I was totally spoiled for. But hey. Dean looked pretty, so I'm happy. His angst is always beautiful. (And it looks like we're in for a crap-load for the rest of the season (yay!)...but I'm getting ahead of myself.) I smell man-tears! I love the smell of man-tears in the morning!
Then back to bitch!Sam. I was also spoiled for Sam's blood-sucking activities, but it was still wicked gross! More disturbing was that he seemed to enjoy it, and asked for it like a needy baby or a drug addict. Damn stupid boy. And when he was drinking it reminded me of True Blood, when Sukey drank Bill's blood. Except it's definitely not as understandable, as Sam wasn't dying. And I just really don't like Ruby, though Bill is kind of good.
Oh, and since when is Ruby allowed to call Sam Sammy?!?!?!? Only Dean can call Sam Sammy! That's just wrong. And he doesn't even seem to notice.
Does Ruby know how to find Dean/Angels from her witch days or because she's a demon? My sister said here that if Sam saves the day she'll be pissed. And I argeed, it would suck. Sam's been looking so evil lately, it just seems wrong that he would step in and save anything when angels are involved.
Dean looks hot. Yeah. Even when I can hear the snapping sounds of him breaking inside. The smell of man-tears grows stronger! I don't want him to be completely broken, but damn he looks good! Me likey!
Dean tortures Alastair with holy water and salt. Rub likes french fries. WTF!? French fries have lots of salt! How do french fries not hurt her? Maybe she likes it. Masochistic bitch. She also looks very very evil as Sam sucks lood from her arm, and I stand by my belief that she is one of YED's children (there is still at least that one from Croatoan loose, if not many more). She is NOT GOOD. NOT GOOD, Sam!
Then the water leaks and Anna visits Castiel. And comes on to him. Jealous bitch. I'm glad he held on to his love of Dean and refused the hussy. Though Dean is sill in danger and that is not good. I no longer approve of this plan. Though I kind of aprove of this love triangle. It goes all ways, rather soap-opera-like. Dean and Castiel and Anna, the love goes both ways for each of them. Me likey. A lot. I want to see where this goes. I would not be opposed to watching the three of them work this out. Mmmmmmmmm..... Dean and Anna both call Castiel Cas, and Dean and Anna have had sex. Can it get any better than that?! I don't think so.
And did Castiel not hear that that little interview had gone wrong? He had heard all the rest of it, why didn't he get in there sooner? My sister was convinced at this point that Anna was killing angels, which makes sense if you know our family (Anna is the evil middle sister... ok, maybe not completely evil, but she did get away wih a lot of stuff. And she was wearing black. That means evil. Although, Dean slept with her. Only Sam sleeps with evil beings, so Anna must be ok. Hmm. I'm conflicted).
I was not convinced that Anna was evil, probably because I like both my sisters. And luckily, Anna wans't evil. Yay! Or more that I was hoping that she wasn't evil because Dean liked her. Whatever. Either way, it worked out for me. Anna wasn't evil. Though, that bit about convincing Castiel that he should turn away from God was rather misleading. And disturbing. Also, Dean doesn't make out with evil beings. Only Sam does, thus Anna must be ok. Sweet!
It was rather disturbing to see Uriel be the one killing angels, but really I was just glad it wasn't Anna or Castiel. I had no real attachment to Uriel, really. He was pretty disposable. It just sucks to have an angel killing angels. (And, duh, anyone Dean sleeps with is ok!)
Also, I think it is completely AWESOME that Dean is the only one who can save us from the apocalypse (if I spelled that wrong, just blame Jimmy Buffett and "Apocalypso"). I also think it was great that Papa withstood a century of torture. We know he was a stubborn bastard, so it makes sense. And now I love him all the more, even though it makes Dean more angsty (though who am I kidding? I like to see Dean cry).
Now Dean really has something to work for. There's not more ignoring the apocalypse. He started it, now he must end it. I like where this is going! Dean is the only one who can save us! And his man-tears can bring us all to salvation!
The end just left me wanting more. Badly. Why is Cas(tiel) at Dean's bedside and not Sam? Is the evil little bastard too busy to go see his brother? Why doesn't Anna show herself to Dean? I can't wait until next week!
And also, why can't I stop shipping Castiel and Dean?! I did not expect this of myself, but I can't ignore it. They have some serious chemistry. And I like it. What has happened to me?
