Eric Kripke's such a tease

Two hilarious episodes in a row! Can this season get any better? Though this one also got dark and serious (and still awesome), there was still a whole lot of funny stuff for us. These last two episodes have been like presents. They talk about slash ("Together together? Don't they know we're brothers?"), and do laundry, and throw in all sorts of stuff from the past that is sure to make us all laugh. I love it!

The fangirl was awesome. And I may have mentioned getting that tattoo to my sister once. Just once! And that was one of the only times this season I have had the same thought as Sam... because my birthday is also May 2nd. Yeah, I totally thought, "It's my birthday!". And this year it's also my graduation day, though I have mixed feelings on that one (seriously, how am I a grown up? That can't be right).

Much squeeing when Chuck started going on about all the things he put them through.  "The bugs?" Hahah! Oh man, I love this! Supernatural loves its fans!

"Writing is hard." Dude, don't I know it. I need some booze to be at all interesting. Hmmm, it seems he does too. Sweet, I'm not the only one!

The laundry scene was pretty freakin' sweet. One: I've read speculation on how often the Winchester do laundry. Fan shout out!. Two: when Dean said something about not being able to see Sam's face, but those are his "brooding and pensive shoulders". I'm not really one for abbreviations, but LOLZ!

Ugh, the little flashes of Sam and Lilith are just gross. Mainly because Sam knows Lilith as a CHILD. Please don't add pedophilia to necrophila. Please? Pretty please?

"Fiery demonic passion" did make me laugh, though.

Does Dean not know that there is a lot of tasty food between a bacon cheeseburger and a veggie tofu burger? Get chicken. Or a burger without the cheese or bacon. Good lord, man, there are a whole lot of tasty options! You were at a diner, get hashbrowns! Those are freakin' delicious (I guess they've never stopped at Waffle House)! Dean's face when Sam ordered a Cobb salad was pretty awesome, though. Haha!

"It frustrates me when you say such reckless things"
"It frustrates me when you" turn/run? away from a fight.
Oh, God boys! Stop the torture! Listen to each other! Sammy, Dean just wants to be prepared. Dean, Sam just wants to get this shizz over with. Work it out! Obviously you do need more preparation, but you also need to get this done at some point. Compromise! (And maybe listen to The Format, they can teach you... ("The Compromise"))

More Magic Fingers! Yay!

And I love Dean's litte smirk after telling Sam, "No homework, watch some porn".

By this point I had totally forgotten (or just not heard in the first place) the part about the Red Hotel. I was wondering if Red meant anything. Boo on me.

Ha! Chuck looks like a kid next to Sam. If I didn't know JP was like nine feet tall, I would've thought this guy was a little person (maybe a primordial dwarf, they're proportionate).

How long will it take for Sam to realize the demon blood drinking is NOT GOOD? Who else has to tell him its a bad idea?!? He already knows God, angels, Dean, Pamela, and a prophet don't approve. What the hell does it take?! The whole, "It makes you look unsympathetic" bit made me happy though. Because it's TRUE! I haven't liked Sam as much as I used to since the whole embracing demon powers thing came out.

Also, when they were talking about how Dean wasn't the same as he used to be, I couldn't help but think that Sam is even more different from first season Sam than Dean is from first season Dean. Sure, Dean isn't completely happy with hunting life, but Sam is fraternizing with demons! Drinking demon blood to get stronger! It's pretty much a complete 180 from where he was in the beginning.

Sam did look rather cute and puppyish sometimes, though. That gives me some hope for the future.

I had seen a preview for this episode with the bit about the Winchester Gospel, though it still made me squee (when does Castiel not, honestly?). I was not prepared, however for "You should've seen Luke." I snorted so loud I thought my roommates would come asking what the heck was going on (either they heard and think I'm a freak, or didn't hear at all). Oh, Castiel, I love you.

Sam's face when he thought Dean knew about the demon blood drinking... damn stupid boy. STOP! YOU KNOW IT'S WRONG! It's completely obvious that he knows that what he's doing isn't right, but he still won't tell or admit he's wrong. You'd think he wants to turn evil (which I know he doesn't, but holy crap, how dense do you have to be to realize what he's doing is wrong?). Also, one devil's trap? Are you an amateur?

Dean praying was so sweet. Even if it was only because he'd reached the end of his rope and didn't know what else to do.
Even better was when Castiel showed up and dropped some pretty obvious hints. I knew he couldn't let his boyfriend down (really, I'm not one for m/m, but I just can't help it with those two. The looks they give each other... ) !
There were some weird sparkly noises when this was going down. I'm a little confused as to what that means. Dean has faith? I don't know. What I do know is that Dean and Castiel should hug it out. And it was pretty freakin' sweet how Castiel (I don't know how Dean got used to calling him Cas so soon, I still haven't) helped him out. Yay for angel/man love!

Sam is the smart one? *snort* Suuure. Maybe before this year I would've thought so, but now not so much. Seriously, after LILITH says "a man after my own heart" how can he STILL think he's doing right?! He's so damn frustrating!

"I am the prophet Chuck." *More snorting*. Really, Chuck was probably the best name  they could've picked for this. It just comes across so funny!

When Lilith was talking about how she's going to die just before the apocalypse, I wondered if Ruby could step in after Lilith did all the hard parts. That’s theory #2 after Ruby being one of YED’s children and furthering his plans. And the two could be related. Ruby could be one of YED’s children and taking the glory for the apocalypse.

I really wasn’t liking Zachariah so much at the end of this episode. Though that may be more to do with my impatience than him. I want to know what Chuck saw!!! I’m the type who reads the ends of books and searches for Christmas presents months before December. There’s no way I’ll keep myself from spoilers if my own willpower is the only thing to overcome! (Mary, it’s your job to keep me from reading ahead, and then spoiling you too!). Aaaaahhhh!

supernatural, the monster at the end of this book
