When the Levee Breaks

May 07, 2009 22:01

I don't even know where to start this week. So much angst, stupidity, odd behavior, betrayal. It all hurts. And I just know that next week will be even worse. Good thing I have a well stocked liquor cabinet and nothing to do. I might need to get blissfully drunk next week and have all day Friday (and possibly Saturday) to recover.

Why is Sam so obsessed with killing Lilith? The final goal is not to kill Lilith, but to stop Lucifer from being released, but Sam is completely focused on Lilith. She wasn't even responsible for Dean going to hell, he did that himself. She just held the contract. She wasn't even the one he made the deal with. Ruby has far too much influence over him.

I blame Sam's ego and his never really knowing his mother for that hallucination. Mary so would not have been proud of him for drinking demon blood. Or for fraternizing with a demon when one killed her whole family and corrupted her son. The Dean hallucination was awesome, though. Dean's voice was so grumbly, it was delicious. If only JDM could've come back to be a hallucination, that would've made my day.

I am a little less worried about Castiel after this week, though. It did seem like he wasn't really happy to be doing what he's doing, at least. That's good. Not as good as he was before, but it doesn't seem like he's been completely brainwashed, just severely reprimanded. At one point he looked close to tears. Not gonna lie, I enjoyed it.

Bobby was acting pretty damn strange this week. I thought it wasn't him, but we haven't gotten any proof of that yet. If it is really him, he was saying some really out of character things for Bobby. I think it was angels trying to get Dean to say that he'd rather have Sam dead than a monster. Which goes along with Castiel letting Sam out. They want Dean to kill Sam. They got Dean to say he'd rather kill Sam than have him turn into a monster, then released Sam to go drink some more demon blood and become more of a monster. Bastards.

And Sam hitting Bobby with the gun? Oh God. It was just like when Sam was possessed in "Born Under a Bad Sign" and he tried to get Dean to kill him then pistol whipped him, only this time he wasn't possessed. Little shit. At this point I just might be happy if Sam died, he's been that much of a stupid asshole. He's been making me so angry lately.

Lilith eats babies. I didn't even know demons ate, but that's nasty.

Ok, how dumb is Sam now. He knows Lilith won't survive to see Lucifer rise and now he knows breaking the last seal involves Lilith. How does it not click that LILITH DYING/BEING KILLED IS THE LAST SEAL!? Not that hard to put those two together. And now it appears that Ruby is really evil and my hypothesis was right all along. Ruby wants the glory of releasing Lucifer (it remains to be seen if she is one of YED's children, but it is still definitely possible). I do so enjoy being right.

I was hoping Dean would kill Ruby in that little tussle. Sadly, Sam stepped in to save the little bitch. Grrrr. And Sam is still incredibly conceited. The angels don't know what they're talking about, saying Dean will stop Lilith. Only Sam can do it.
You're not God, Sam, just a demon's bitch. And punching Dean in the face is a great way to show him you aren't the monster he said you are. Dean's single perfect tear was a thing of beauty, though.

Sam choking Dean!? That just ain't right. And then Dean pulled a papa and told Sam to never come back, but this time Sam really deserved it. I don't think Sam choked his father before going to Stanford. Sam really has become something awful, if not yet evil.

Next week is going to hurt.
