Supernatural: The End

Yay!!! Dean learned the right lesson! He had me worried there, talking to Zachariah, but he did the right thing! Yay Dean! And yay Castiel, for perfect timing! This season is shaping up to better than the last, which is really saying something. I loved last season.

I am also very very happy that Sam told Dean he was Lucifer's vessel. Sam learned from last season! And he also said he needs redemption, which I totally agree with (and said a couple weeks ago). Yay Sam! You're winning me back!

Wow, I am really overdoing the exclamation point use, huh? Oh well, it's deserved. This episode was awesome.

Did that movie theater sign say "Now Playing Route 666"? It was only a split second shot, but I could've sworn I saw it.

Has Dean still not learned to stay away from creepy little girls? You'd think he's seen them often enough to steer clear, or at least approach very very cautiously.

The scariest part of this episode was not seeing Sam as Lucifer, but PRESIDENT PALIN. AAAHHH! NOOO!!! I think that scares me more than the rest of the apocalypse! I told my sister I hoped I would be dead by that point, but then I remembered we'd been sort of planning for a post-apocalyptic future. We so woudn't be dead. We'd have a nice farm in rural Massachusetts, hunting deer and wild turkey. Crap. Though we do have a whole lot of toilet paper and canned goods. Thanks dad and mom. And our antisocial behavior.

Misha Collins totally stole the show in this episode. From beginning to end he was perfect. From freaking out about not having enough minutes on his phone to plucking Dean away from Zachariah at the exact right moment, he was freaking awesome! I don't even know exactly how many times I watched that clip of Dean and Castiel on the phone at the beginning, but it was perfect. Misha Collins is a freaking genius. Or a damn good actor, whichever. But seriously:
"No dice."
"What? I like past you."
"Alrighty."
"That's how I roll."
AWESOME! Hilarious and awesome!

Then, TWO DEANS!!! I think my brain may have exploded. That's like a dream come true! Though it didn't turn out so perfect, as future Dean was not all that nice. Sacrificing Castiel, the bastard.

Dean wore sacrificial underwear! And he liked it! (The feel of it's silver sequins? He wore sacrificial underwear and he liked it. He hopes Sammie don't mind it.)

Did ex-angel Castiel become Buddhist, or was that just to get girls? He did kind of seem to be working it.

Anyone else wondering what else there is in Dean to break? Because, holy crap, hasn't enough of him broken already?! What else is there? (Yeah, I totally just quoted Swan Princess. What of it?)

So, Lucifer likes white suits. That's kind of weird. Seems kind of attention-whorey, really.

Yay, the single perfect tear! I missed you! You look so pretty on Dean's face.

Why did Lucifer still have powers, anyway? Castiel didn't, since the angels left. Lucifer is also an angel, why did he still have powers? Just because he was way higher up? Or because he turned bad? Hmm.

"Don't ever change." Oh, Dean, you didn't like high, orgy-having Castiel? I kind of did. But hey, that's a lesson. Don't bring him to anymore brothels (though that was pretty awesome, again because of Misha Collins acting).

And maybe it's not such a good thing to watch Flash Forward before Supernatural, because I kept referring to Dean goin to the future as his flash forward. And pictured him telling Sam, "In my flash forward you were Lucifer..."
