I go with b or c
more importantly, you have to freakin COMPETE to major in what you want to major in???

I will always remember the time Fred Durst said that the nation needs to be in agreeance when it comes to going to war with Iraq.

The "word" has since then forever left a sour taste in my mouth.

Did you notice a change in their facial expressions, or did they point out your mistake? If you were talking fast enough they might not even have noticed. Regardless, if the rest of your interview was decent, I highly doubt that slip will make a difference. Everybody occasionally misspeaks things they normally know how to say correctly.
Also, you have to compete for majors? With interviews? WTF?
