bit of a mini crisis here yesterday. Dad wakes me up early yesterday morning in a panic, our car rego is due tomorrow (ie. today now), and we need to get it inspected to get a pink slip. Of course this is absurd, seeing as the car (Toyota Landcruiser) is a year old. Apparently 4WDs are treated like trucks though, and you need to get them inspected ( Read more... )

Things are a bit strange round here at present. For one there is nothing in my room or the study due to roofwork, so all the random furniture that was in there (there was a LOT of crap in there....) has been shifted to basically random spots about the place. On the back end of a massive weekend. Went to the swans game last night, which, alas, they lost to the hated lions. Pretty cool night, met up with these american dudes beforehand for some prematch goon, which pretty much set the tone for the evening.
