I have the day off from one of my clinicals. For some strange reason the nursing school is actually doing something nice that even makes sense for their students. How odd. They are giving us 4 days off from our community clinical to make up for the outside of clinical assignments we have to do. Fantastic! I'm spending the day working on a care plan

Normally I would suggest going to the instructor (because usually it's where you end up if you go higher anyway) to clear this up -- but it really sounds like you might need to go over her head. Someone needs to knock her off whatever the hell pedestal she's placed herself on. So she's big shit in India...so what? Her job here is to teach and help you guys. I don't understand how she expects to gain your respect simply by telling you how much respect she's earned somewhere else. That just doesn't make sense.

I'm jealous of your graduation date. ;P

Yeah, that's what my Dad said too. It kinda makes me respect her less when she touts all the reasons why I should respect her. I guess it kinda makes her seem insecure, like her ego is threatened or something.

I'm just gonna bide my time and play nice so I can pass. I'm way too far in the program to go making a stink now. : )
