I'm writing a concept analysis paper for school on patience. If you're bored and want to help me out it would be much appreciated! Just take a minute and tell me your thoughts on patience. What is it? What are some examples of patience? When do you use patience? Anything really. I'm Just looking for perspectives.

Thanks in advance! : )

Patience is being able to take the long view; the act of settling oneself so as to achieve a greater result than is immediately available. Saving money or denying oneself extravagance are examples of practical patience. There is also (And more nebulous) social patience, where one is patient with friends, or waits years for the perfect relationship before marrying.

In much the same vein:

Patience is knowing the move you want to make and having the self-discipline to wait until the absolute best moment to execute it. Whether it be in social situations, in thought, in sprituality, whatever. Patience truly is a virtue. It is the the truest measure of self-discipline in my opinion.

Hey Mollie, it's good to hear from you again. I'd write you a paragraph but I just don't have the patience to sit here and think about it.
