Hi Sheila, this is Joe Franecki. Please open your livejournal to me. I'm not the boss of you, nor am I a coworker. The proof: the last time you saw my daughter, Nisba, was the first time she saw The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

No longer proof, but fun to note: she asked just yesterday about what the Grinch was stealing, and what happened with the red ornament -- she asked that constantly for about a week after Ben's party, but I thought she'd forgotten it! She forgets NOTHING.

I am confused! I thought you were sgd_defender, and that you were already on my friends list. If you're logged in, you should still be able to see everything. I don't know what kind of crazy lj technical problem we are encountering if this is not working ... Let me know if you really can't see everything when logged in, and I'll poll everybody to see if others are having the same problem. I might have screwed something up when doing the blanket privacy thing.

Talking of Nisba, I have an old U of C magazine that has a cover story on Sophonisba Breckinridge that I keep meaning to hand off to you guys at the Christmas party, but keep forgetting to do. Nudge me about it if it looks like we'll be getting together again before next Christmas. Or maybe a miracle will occur and I'll remember on my own just by having typed this.

I need a compelling argument for why you should include me. How's this: I was flipping through my Technorati page and saw that you mentioned my Bollywood blog, so that might mean that we are Bollywood kindred spirits and I would love to read what you have to say!

Also, there’s an lj community called bollywood which has discussions of Bollywood movies, though it usually doesn’t get updated more than a couple times a week. You might find other Bollywood-fan lj users by looking there, though.

I notice you’re a new user; if you add my name and any other user names of ljs that you might be interested in to your friends list, you will be able to read all recent entries by everyone on your list on one page. Also, if you join the bollywood community (instructions are probably on the user info page of the community), new entries in the community will appear on your friends page too.
