Luka's never going to trust me again....

Oy vey. Played truant today from sewing class and opted to sleep in. When I woke up, I sorted some clothing from the laundry pile in our room to bring down to the basement to wash. Luka managed to sneak into the unfinished side of the basement while I had my hands full and pulled a disappearing act into the stacks of clutter

He'll forget, but he'll probably be reluctant to get in the carrier again. Chimi has a nasty carrier wetting habit thanks to his recent moving adventures :-/

Perhaps. But will he forget by Saturday?? Somehow, I don't think he will.

I don't remember when my parents had to take me to the hospital to get my lip stiched up when I was a kid. He's got a week to calm down and forget, so let's hope Luka's memory is as bad as mine.

I certainly hope so! In the meantime, I'm going to make sure that Branden and I get his claws trimmed this week so if he does decide to scratch at someone (me!) that he won't take out a chunk of flesh!

I'm pretty sure I was out of carrier stage at that point.

i always felt the same when i had to take brad for shots.
the nurses made me hold him down, and all the while he'd be screaming and looking at me like mommy why are you letting bad things happen to me? i dont understand...
ugh. SO glad i dont have to ever do that again.

Despite all the annoyance, he got the medical attention he needed and I'm sure he'll be on the mend soon!

oh poor luka, i can SO relate, isabelle has such a hard time at the vet and i cannot stress that enough we have had such a hard time--she poops, pees and throws up almost every time we go and she shakes, cries and then gets super aggresive its awful!!!!! poor kitties they so dont understand and get so scared:(
