Aha! You will be pleased to know that during my holiday in SA I've been writing a lot more (but on a different project I shall hopefully post soon), but I'm also planning to write a lot more stories with little Kaytee. As I was writing it, she really started taking on a character of her own, and now I'm quite endeared by her, I think a lot more of her little life needs to be explored ;-)

And thanks for the feedback too :-) Sometimes it's really what keeps me from packing it all in on a bad day.

LoL, that's an awesome story!!! very innocent, only not. *giggles*
Perhaps you could send this away to be published. It's very entertaining. Get a bit of money for it, get your name out there.

Kaytee went back and told the library teacher that she had the wrong books, and eventually she was hauled out by a big, scary secondary teacher with legs like giant chicken drumsticks and a wobbly bottom, quickly ending her foray into upper-secondary research.

Let me guess who this might be... hehehehe the bitch Mz J?

haha, I hadn't thought of Mrs J- . . . I was thinking more of a teacher from Bayswater we used to think ate children during the lunch break (she kept them locked in her cupboard in the maths room). I guess it's an archetype in the education world that can be found wherever you look :-P

As I said above, I am intending a few more stories with Kaytee in them - if I can get a decent series together, I might well think about putting them in a more public arena. Since Emily Strange and related "evil little cute girls" are the in thing at the moment, it wouldn't be too hard. Would be great to work with an illustrator on them, though.
