This summer I've been watching Person of Interest, which stars Michael Emerson as a genius who built a supercomputer that can anticipate when people are going to be in danger and Jim Caviezel as the guy he sends to save the people in danger.

As much as I like some of the actors in POI, it never keeps my interest. My mind starts to wander when I watch it and if I change the channel during the commercial, I forget to come back.

Looking forward to your Fall lineup of "things to watch".

To be honest, I don't even know why I stuck with POI long enough to get to the good part. The case of the week plots are often boring, and while I think the long arc has gotten pretty interesting, it's a sloooooooow build.

I just finished watching Stranger Things. Wow, what a great series! I'm looking forward to Season 2, though I'm always doubtful that the magic can be recaptured when it comes to these things.

I know exactly what you mean. I almost wish that it was being left as a one season event, just because it's nearly perfect the way it is, even with the dangling threads left at the end. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that S2 will live up to the standard set by S1.
