It was amazing to watch it happen because I have never seen anyone handle an egg so awkwardly before in my life, as if his hands didn't really work right.

I'm still awkward at cracking eggs!

I've been practicing your method of making an egg over easy. Still not sure I'm doing it right, but I've been getting much better textured eggs, so I'm very happy about it!

Ha. I feel like everything my husband does in the kitchen--except crack eggs--is this awkward. I need to make him cook more so he gets over it.

Cooking is practice and experience, just like any skill. Get him in there with a cast iron pan.

I never learned to crack an egg as I was growing up. In fact it wasn't until I was in my 20s I think... Then I went vegan at 25 (I know I owe you a post), so I'm often bemused about this skill that I revered for so long in my life now being redundant.
