Man, I wish I could have had a fun, enthusiastic math teacher like you. I actually flunked geometry in high school even though I tried really hard and went to the teacher for tutoring. After that they put me in "conceptual" geometry where we played with blocks and had weekly "packets" instead of a book. D'oh!
Math gives me nightmares.jacquelyn4444February 2 2005, 12:26:20 UTC
I seriously almost didn't graduate from college because I couldn't pass statistics. I took Math 90A twice. Math 90B once, pass/fail. BARELY passed.
Still, I needed to satisfy the stats requirement. They eventually put me in a class for future elementary school teachers, which was not much unlike the one you describe above. But with lots of high-pitched, extra-cited-almost-first-grade-teacher-chicks wearing tutlenecks and telling "oh, aren't the bright-eyed little kids in your TA classes just the greatest?!" stories... talk about nightmares.
