You ever get the feeling that maybe you could be more romantic? Do you hear a little voice that says a wild and spontaneous random act of romance is just what you need? Ignore this voice. This is the voice of the devil. Possibly a devil sponsored by Tim Horton's coffee shop ( Read more... )

Wow. My God, hun. Do you need a hug or what? I am so sorry. That was such a sweet gesture, and you ended up having to stay with a stranger? Damn, I feel bad. You need a break, real bad. Play the lottery, you have some karma coming. Next time you are insanely alone, frustrated beyond words, and bleeding profusely from your foot, call me, and I will at the least keep you company as you wander through all nine levels of hell. Jesus. Once again, I am so sorry.

*hugs to infinity and shit*

You know, it never occured to me to call someone just to talk . . . I could've spent a very pleasant time chatting in the Tim Hortons from a payphone. I ever have a calling card. Why didn't I think of that?? True, it was really late, but still.

And yeah, if I'm NOT storing up some good karma, I'm going to hurl myself off a cliff. How long can things suck for?

Yeah, I may not be good for much, but I am exceedingly talented at distracting others from the hell pit that life turns into sometimes.

In my professional opinion, somewhere around two years. The good news, however, is that after it, you learn to like the good times more.

what a day you had! I'm sure that if that's the worst thing that's happened so far, then it just gets better afterwards. i hope Ryan doesn't decide to look for someone else.

wild and sponteneous acts that are meant to be romantic are not so much good ideas.
but look at all the friends you made in you little adventure!

You didn't go to the interview stoned?!? tsk tsk tsk...i think you need a break...mud wrestling perhaps?

No, Ryan's not looking for anyone else :) And I ACCIDENTALLY went to the interview stoned. I had a little roach before going to work Friday cause I knew no one would be there as it was a holiday (I was making up time I took off earlier). Then that guy called from the lab in Medicine and said he'd gotten my resume and stuff and would I like to walk over and have an interview seeing as his office is five minutes from my work. What could I do??? He must think I'm really relaxed and giggly!

I've had similar situations. I think. My memory is fuzzy. I just decided to do other stuff instead of wasting the trip waiting on someone. I don't know if its just me, but I have very few bad memories, no matter how bad the incident was. It sounds like you made some interesting memories there which you will always take with you. However, would you have remembered watching TV and reading a book all weekend? Probably not.

I agree - at least I have the memory of something. Gives life a little spice, eh? Even the bad stuff.

that is one hell of a day. *sigh* I have found myself at Tim Hortons many nights with a broken heart or a drunken head. Some of the best writing I have done has come as a result from Tim Hortons. I guess that's sort of like making a deal with the devil then, huh?

Yeah, Timmy's is a good place to go for a sulk. I've written a couple of essays there too, burning the midnight oil.
