Mol...your teacher sucks... the downbeats only lead to the up beats in rock and jazz...and not as predominantly as some may think. 2 and 4 are weak beats and cannot ever be the push of the music. THe downbeat will always lead to 1 and then move toward the 3...

I hear what you're saying, totally. What I don't understand is what HE'S saying. He gave me all these patterns of two measures, but there's a single note in a third measure for each. So I was like, what's the deal with that? He said "it goes to 2." Huh? I showed it to Ryan, and even he couldn't make head or tails of it. When I asked drum dude this morning, he said it was "for shots" and it "always goes to the upbeat" and I SWEAR Mayumi, I want to cry cause I HATE not understanding, but WHAT THE HELL? He cannot teach. He can play amazingly, but he is no teacher.

I assumed shots meant crash. But who knows. Whenever I ask a question, instead of answering in English, he counts. Like that helps AT ALL. He frustrates me SO MUCH. ARRHHH!!

And I take fruity nature and landscape pictures all the time, so in your face. I like taking pictures of things I like. I generally don't like man-made things... they're evil. Everything man makes typically causes harm. From the most passive of paper to large buildings, we only come away with grief and harm. We make psychology a profession in order for people to deal with their grief and depression when if we would just stop screwing around with nature, we wouldn't be creatures of worry. How you like that philosophical crap that just came out of my butt?

Yes, I LOOOOOVE Red Aunts. Track 6 is my favourite as yet; I got it 2 days ago. Yumminess. You may recommend music to me anytime.

haha I can make more of an effort....I'm just a lazy ass fucker. a lot of my user icons are myself (the ones that arent rufus wainwright, art, or the dresden dolls)..but yeah, I go in spurts about posting pics. I also have the joys of having a japanese first name and not looking japanese, which is super fun online because people always assume by my name I must look really asian..and then they see a picture and are like 'what the fuck, YOU CANNT BE NAMED AKIO!"
