So I've been obsessively watching this series for the last three weeks (which made the move to the downstairs apt difficult, mind) and I've come to one conclusion now that I'm done watching all three series and the three most recent radio plays

Have you watched the show though? I think you'd like Captain Jack as much as I do. He's got a very Sirius-like quality to him. Plus, he gets to make out with Spike. (Yes, Buffy's Spike!)

No, I've never even seen much Doctor Who. *sheepish* But ohh, I've heard about Captain Jack and Spike. Heh.

I actually just watched my first Dr Who yesterday. Its a lot different than Torchwood, but I can see the appeal. Torchwood feels more like an American show whereas Who feels distinctly British, if you know what I mean.
