Had a good game on the sand court today, even though I showed up late. Got there just before gonzonia and the Missus took off. But got to play with careena, maxmatahari, tampafats, jamesx, spprs, & trufflesfl. And might I say we are quite the vorreebarr crew. trufflesfl even inspired me to stop bein a pansy and dive for the ball. Quite an improvement in my game with that fear overcome

I was noticing that we're all doing markedly better than when we first started... especially tampafats and careena. I swear, the Sunday vorrebarr game is the cherry on top of my week all the time. Especially when people hang out afterwards. We should figure out a regular spot to have a few beers at afterwards that's close.

My favorite part of the week, too. Anything that involves all my friends with none of their cigarette smoke makes me so fucking happy.

Oh, man, Tampafats's learning curve impressed the living Jesus spit outta me. I'm pretty proud of mine, too, and thanks for noticing. This is honestly the first time I've ever actually played a sport in my life...I was always a dancer, but never before applied that coordination to such an unpredictable activity.

Yeah, no problem, you two both did great. I notice both of you guys because nine times out of ten you wind up on my team and I kinda depend on you fuckers!!!

I just need to practice serving. My forward game is pretty good, though.

And time spent is about to kick into high gear. "Party Season" as I call it, usually starts with Halloween (wherein I'm inevitably involved in some way in the show) and ends off with my birthday and New Year's Eve. I'm usually drunk for about two months during this time of the year.
