Last week we finished the last disc of the last series of Buffy. Keeping withdrawal symptoms down with chocolate and, of course, ordering Netflix to send me Angel: season 5 stat.
On an different note, the guy who played Connor (Vincent Kartheiser) is now on one of my favorite (new) shows called Mad Men. The show is being tauted as "a provocative new primetime drama about how to sell the truth." The description reads: "Set in 1960 New York, the daring new series is about the lives of the ruthlessly competitive men and women of Madison Avenue advertising, an ego-driven world where key players make an art of the sell while their private world gets sold."
Highly recommended. I think you can even download some of the episodes on AMC's website.
Cool! I put it on my Netflix queue to remind myself to look for it. I still did like Kartheiser even when Connor got too depressing to stay on the show any longer.
The Season 8 comic version is great. Joss is in fine form and it's good to see where people have ended up. Especially Xander. If the quality stays at its present level, then it is going to be a great season.
The other question is, will he do an Angel season as well? Be nice to know where that goes.

The thing I really loved about Chosen & the sharing of slayer power was Buffy's speech and how it felt - how it was the mission statement of the show.
I'm really liking the season 8 comics. They feel like real episodes to me, if the show had an unlimited budget.

The show always looked quite good despite its budget, so I look forward to seeing these comics!
