That fic is fabulously funny. So many LOL moments, piggyback ride included. It makes sense for Snape to be so literal, not having much chance for social interactions because of his shitty parents, victim of bullying at the hands of the Marauders, and the dysfunctional social gatherings known as Death Eater revels. He's one socially awkward dude in a buttoned up package.
And of course not having actually read a bodice ripper he was missing a bit as well.
What I found touching is the way he kept trying. Failure after embarasment after failure and he continued on. I think that speaks high of his dedication to Hermione.
That story most definitely needs warnings about food and beverages as well as the need to explain sudden bursts of laughter to other people in the room! Snape was possibly at his most adorable in this. He was just so damned cute!
There were so many great moments in that fic. I especially liked how non sentient things came alive. I swear to you T I will never ever get the mental picture out of my head of Severus bending down and telling Hermione to hop on for her piggy back ride into the sunset. Priceless!
The piggy back offer was priceless! I really want the sarcastic quill and pervert inkpot set. Maybe if I ask Santa, he'll bring me one for Christmas. Wouldn't a quill with a chip to spout Snape sayings at you be marvelous?!?! I was laughing my head off when MasterSpy!Snape couldn't come up with a better plan than throwing Sir Book out the window into the lake!
