For the last 2 days my area has been hit with winds gusting up to 60 mph. Its crazy strong wind that you actually have to tilt yourself to walk upright. Srsly. Tonight on our way home from karate lookie what we saw. This is 2 blocks from my house. Meeps!

Is safe thank you! No tree damage on our street. The kids are still chattering about it. Hee!

Oh wow. That poor tree and the poor homeowner.

We were lucky and didn't get the worst of it in Small Town Illinois. With the advanced warning on Monday, I was able to get everything into the garage that I thought might end up blowing away. Some of the neighbors didn't and I've seen rubbermaid chairs and recycling bins in yards where they don't belong.

It's still windy down here. Be careful up there in the even colder north.
