It is tradition at our local elementary school that the 4th grade parents staff the end of year party for the graduating 5th graders. So of course I completely rearrange my schedule and show up to help. Guess how many other 4th grade parents there were helping? Just guess? 4 including myself. The funny thing was I knew all three other volunteers by name. There are over 100 kids in the 4th grade. Those that help out know each other. Heh.
