Loved this post! Your life seems so peaceful and it seems like you've got such a great support system around you. :)

omg..."it's not my anniversary anymore"...good lord. Talk about a knife to the heart to read. I once told a friend of mine who was going through some things that such anniversaries are times to tell yourself that "I remember".

I love the part about Olive Garden; yeah..those kinds of restaurants are always my comfort places too. LOL...give me a Red Lobster too while your at it.

Here's hoping you can find something to do with all that ravioli! haha.

Thank you!

I know. I almost lost it at my mom's comment. She and I have extremely different ways of grieving. I look at anniversaries as a time for remembering, too.

Red Lobster is really yummy, too. I have't been there in quite a log time . . . All restaurant prices have gone up significantly, but they seem to have raised prices even more. Still, that would be good for a change, sometime soon.

Three of us ate five bags of ravioli in maybe two weeks. It was not a problem. :)

It really is funny the things that you do in that grief state - buying five bags of lasagna is really not that bad! This was really touching and well-written. I hope things are going well for you. :)

Not the worst thing I've done in grief state either--just the one that fit the prompt. ;) Thank you so much for reading and commenting!

Grief is weird like that. I, too, would avoid people at the grocery store in order to avoid a crying jag. And probably be looking for the most comforting of comfort foods, if I could. So five bags of ravioli makes perfect sense.

Yes, grief is definitely weird. Glad I'm not alone in hiding from one of my closest friends to avoid crying. ;)
