I cleaned my car today (it hadn't been vacuumed out in about a year and was REALLY gross inside), getting it ready to make the trip down to St. Olaf. I probably spent five hours vacuuming it out, cleaning the dust and grime from the dashboard and windowsills, and then rubbing on this stuff to make the plastic parts inside the car shine again. It's damp, cool, and rainy outside today. It was like this yesterday too, but I happily slept through most of the day (until 3:30 PM) because I had gotten three hours of sleep Thursday night and went to bed at 4 AM on Friday night. I'm home, in my own bed for a night or two before having to go back to Faribault to work again early Tuesday morning. I'm feel good knowing that next week I'll only have to spend one night in Faribault because I'm only working there on Tuesday and Wednesday. My Grandma Agnes, Catherine's mom, died this morning a few minutes after six. She had at least four different types of infection in her body for the past week, and two of those started about a month to six weeks ago. In the end, it's a good thing that Agnes has died; she wasn't living a particularly enjoyable life for the past couple of weeks ( Read more... )
