A lot of the US TV networks just announced cancellations & renewals for TV shows for next season, so I figured I'd summarise which ones I've watched this past season and which aren't coming back

Stargate Universe: I'm rather sad for this one, since the quality of the acting picked up (for most of the lead cast anyway; David Blue couldn't act his way out of a paper bag). The ending was suitably poignant and a particularly jagged dig at the SyFy executives. There was supposed to be an eventual movie finale, but I only found out about it by it being cancelled. The producers are apparently blaming SG:A fan hostility as a major reason for the failure. Human Target: I actually half expected this, due to the massive reboot of the show for series 2, which I felt actually made the show worse. I was much more interested in the more exotic background/abilities of Christopher Chance from series 1 than the more mundane Chance of series 2. Still, I will mourn the absence of Guererro from our screens. No Ordinary Family: What in the Seven Hells is the network thinking? Oh, it's ABC; that explains it. Known for producing excellent shows and then cancelling them because they don't know how to market and sell excellence. They have writers
