i'm bemused that a gp would be so delicate as to pass the task of lancing on to another. but not surprised. medical students can be little flowers. [you *can't* be in medical microbiology, else you are no longer in medical micro.]
{the gp(s) ought to have done more than lance a little hole, but then they *are* gps. mine would have lanced it using a syringe.}the whole cavity needs to be cleaned out properly. sterilised, and checked to ensure that any possible source of infection is removed. *sadface ( ... )
