Holy shit, $400 for a condo? Is that just renting out from the owner or is it with the intent to actually own it eventually?

well its the condo that my mom's boss' mom lives in. And they just bought a new house for her, closer to them cuz she's getting old and shit. They own it, so I assume its all already paid for and shit...they said they don't want to sell it right now, and don't really want to do the whole landlord thing and rent out to strange or weird people...and they know I don't like living at home, so he told my mom they'd let me live there and not have to pay rent, just the homeowner's fees.

I'm not looking to own...not at all. I don't have a real job, haha so I can't afford anything like that. Still doing the whole school thing.

Honestly I don't even know if its worth it to own...not in SoCal, unless I happen to get a real good job in the next few years.
