Wolves top of Championship League with 4 points clear  and 4 games to go....but it's tight at the top!  I was delighted by their performance on Friday where we scored in the first minute and were 2 goals up by 8 mins!   Final score was 3-0.  OK  I know it was Southampton who are set to be relegated,  but it's often against teams like that where we ( Read more... )

My dad and brother still haven't recovered from the promotion one season, relegation the next season fiasco. My suggestion is that they just stay in the league where they are happy but apparently I'm missing the point...

Noooooo we NEED to be promoted and we deserve having been top since way back in October! There's also the matter of the cash - loadsa money will be injected into the club for being promoted to the Premiership.

This time it will be different (maybe) we have a far younger team - and besides, last time we were in the Prem I had a fabulous time, enjoyed watching these big teams coming to Mol - and even though we often lost (but beat ManU!!!) Wolves mostly put up a good fight.

I will embrace promotion wholeheartedly...if we get there...;)

And now we're 83 points from 43 matches. Six clear. Looking for one more win to make it certain.

That season a few years back saw us tail off much earlier. Not this year. We've held on to that lead (sometimes by our fingernails) all the way, and I'm damned if we're going to give it up now.

Yes you're right - we were second for most of the season and tailed of earlier. This time with a younger team hungry for promotion we could pull it off - I do believe we will, but hey I've been a Wolves fan for too many years to know that nothing is certain until the points are in!

I am willing them to promotion with every bone in my body.
Oxford play tonight - they have a chance of the playoffs for 2nd Div IF they win tonight and others lose...thank goodness Wolves are in a better posititon!
