The rest of the weekend.......first batch of chili!

We had an unexpected visit from J and Mel. They were going to go to Vegas so they stopped over night. Mel got sick :( and they cancelled the trip to Vegas. We got to visit with them a little longer. We talked about Chili cookoff stuff and got some more organizing done

I made some yesterday too =) It's SO different with fresh India Chili powder!

We have never tried it with India Chili powder. How did it taste? I bet it was good :)

Ooh, that's a tough one, to change or not to change....

How would you change it? Hotter, not so hot, more sauce, less sauce?? If the old is a good one, I say keep it the same.

I am not sure how I would change it. I make a green chili right now. John makes his red. We both tend to make it hot. I was kind of thinking about making what we call a Winter White. It is all white meats, white beans, white spices etc. I don't know, I am sometimes chicken to try new stuff, when the old standby works well. :)
