Vote for my mom - New Yorker Cartoon Contest
My mom's cartoon is one of the 3 finalists in this week's New Yorker Cartoon Contest. She's elated and we all want her to win (so she'll stop talking about it). Below is the email she sent to everyone she knows. I told her I'd get everyone I know to vote for her too. Please do me a favor and take 5 minutes to click the New Yorker link below and vote for my mom's cartoon (it's the last caption). Do me another favor, if you think a different one is funnier, and can't bring yourself to vote for my mom's, just don't vote.
The New Yorker Cartoon contest finalists are published today, online, and I am one of the three (out of thousands!) that the cartoon editors chose. (It's about time. I've entered every single week since the contest began....) The final winner of this cartoon caption is chosen by vote. So, please show your support (and rise above your petty jealousies). I'm the third one listed. Must have been alphabetical.
