In April, we found a cat living under the empty house nest door. He would come out and watch Gavin on the swing set. The cat belonged to the elderly couple who lived next door. The lady had a stroke, so her husband took care of her. Later, he fell and broke his hip. Their kids came and got them and made them move out of state. They have never came ( Read more... )

Is everyone's life as hectic as mine? I thought that when I put Gavin in preschool I'd have more free time, but it seems I suddenly have more orders to fill. Jess has cheer practice and gymnastics all the time. My PTO VP calls me too many times a day, and if I don't answer she just comes to my house during her planning period.  Today my car died ,again, and as if this isn't bad enough, my Mother won't get off her lazy ass to come and pick us up! Thankfully I was only about a mile from home, so me and my 5 yr old son, Gavin WALKED home! It felt like 10 miles in the heat and I ended up carrying him because he is sick and didn't feel good.  Gavin started preschool today. I didn't cry, he didn't cry. WOW! I am going to see if I can let him go 3 days a week instead of 2 because he really loves it!

I realized that I haven't been making much time for me lately :( Now to get back into the swing of things, I have decided to work on me for a while. I finally got those roots done. I'm thinking of getting my nails done, maybe. I definately need to lose at least 10 lbs before fall or none of my jeans are gonna fit, darn milkshakes!  Where do I start ( Read more... )

I saw this on a t-shirt today:  "Well behaved women never made history"  How true is this! (Now I don't feel so bad for not trying to be everyone's idea of perfect!)

I'm so excited! Jessica's team won their game this weekend so now they are undeated! We get to host the county tournament! The only problem I have is... if they haven't lost a game, then we should stay in 1st place and the other teams should have to fight for 2nd and 3rd ( Read more... )
