Love the new blog. I have friends who live by the creed "all you need is love". I think raising a strong girl to be a strong woman starts with that. But it takes some serious smarts too. You got this, we got this. Wade and B are going to rock this world!

Thank you Helen! The old adage is true--it takes a village! And it also takes a degree of critical reasoning to help someone navigate all the different messages out there. I'm hoping that with my background and with the strong, caring people I have in my life I'll be able to help B. avoid some of the pitfalls I encountered. And I have no doubt that Wade is going to grow up to be brilliant, savvy and absolutely awesome. Here's to the next generation rocking the world!
