I'm exhausted. I'm just ... exhausted. Stick a fork in me, I'm done. I should be doing a hundred more important things right now, but all I have the mental energy for is sitting here, eating mint chocolate chip ice cream and playing Text Twist. Pathetic

awww, good for you! it's my weekend off too. i always cry a little when i do the daycare dropoff, but by friday night/sat morning, it feels nice. i have GNO this evening, hopefully followed by the sort of fun that us newly separated dually deserve :) enjoy, lady. pedicures are in order- let someone primp you whilst you read smut magazines.

You know, the drop-off is surprisingly easy, I'm finding. The kids are always so eager to hop into the car shouting "Daddy's house! Daddy's house!" that the only feeling I'm left with is, "Jeez, aren't you going to miss me even a little?".

You know I've never gotten a pedicure? I could really use one. Especially if it involves smut magazines.

travesty!!! pedicures are a very inexpensive treat that are worth every damn penny. don't bother with a spa- find a little place with flourescent lights and a technician who doesn't speak english. that way they can't interrupt your us weekly reading with small talk :)
