I know I'm new to your LJ but I'd get out of there now; I wouldn't even bother sorting it out; that's just ridiculous; get out! There's no excuse for how he's treated you in the past either; And he shouldn't expect you to do all the work; nope, you need to go. You deserve someone who is going to treat you as you deserve and no less. You may well hate me for this, but you're in an abusive relationship right now.
JFC, woman! You are handling this so much better than I would be - you need to pick up and go on, honey. I get that he is going through a rough time right now but I can't see where it is beneficial for you and Emma to be in his path when he is like this - who knows what he might actually do. I just don't think it's safe for you. Reading your entry on what your husband said to you made me think of the story I read just this morning where a man in New York shot his two sleeping children, bludgeoned his wife to death in her own bed, then shot himself dead, all because they were going through a divorce. CRAZY.
Please please please think of the safety of you & your daughter. Stay in an emergency shelter and see an attorney to have your husband removed from your house - because it *is* YOUR house! - and get a restraining order. Tell him to seek help for his issues. You really should not subject yourself or your daughter to him until after he is better.
I hope you understand that I and rdfreak are saying this out of concern for you, your daughter

So sorry so much all at once. If it helps I did my GED when I was in my 30's since I never got around to finishing. It was a pain but it's worth it. Hope you and both babies are okay. Worry about you
