But this... this is gorgeous. The sense of place you develop is so real I can almost feel the hot breeze, hear the rain and smell the masala. Seeing these characters we know so well in such entirely different circumstances, different people altogether and still very much them... well. It makes me want to rethink my prejudices and go read more from this challenge. Bravo.
