Sorry for the long delay. Writers block met a heavy work schedule and led to general unproductively. Sadly, not much of B&A together in this chapter, but! At long last! Some answers :-) I promise next time will have much Bangel frolicking through the fields joyfully

Very interesting backstory. Sounds like something Ethan would orchestrate. One point - Darla's sire was The Master, we saw him turn her.

I just sat down this morning (when I should have been packing) to read this whole fic, and I have to tell you, I'm kind of in love with it. It's just angsty enough, but the characters are recognizable, and I think, realistic. Your writing is really phenomenal. And I REALLY hope that ending is a ploy on Buffy's part, tricking Ethan or something.
