I saw this in the newspaper. I scanned it briefly while eating breakfast
I don't see the big deal over this, they have found around 300 planets orbiting a sun that could be another potential earth. I don't see the scientific explination of why this one is considered the "first".

The only way it could be considered a first is if the all the elements fit into the goldilocks zone. The newspaper mentioned nothing about the goldilocks zone and if they suspect the elements are correct. Even if they do suspect the goldilocks zone are correct they cant go off to says its a first without proof. The law of the goldilocks zone is rediculousy demanding, its not just a matter of one thing like tempature to be exact its like seven different things that must be exactly matched or different combination of matches different from earths.

I feel bad for the scientists working on this. As important as it is its not getting the main financial scientific backing from the christians.
