Last night I was updating some things on my Facebook and I decided to search for a very dear friend I lost contact with over 15 years ago. I've looked for Anita before, I've searched the internet, asked friends, and searched Facebook several times in the past. This time it paid off. I know the feeling. Just this week I found a friend on Facebook who I've known longer than anyone outside my immediate family; we were in band together at 14, then attended the same small college. It's simply lovely to make these kinds of connections again.

Although the internet can bring us many bad things it has given me things I wouldn't trade for anything and I am very grateful. I am glad to hear that others have had success as well in reconnecting with people like this. :)
